SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed in regards to the large number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be sassa status due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing here of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
